Friendly Encounter
In the park, over the grass an afternoon
After a long day, I lay down relaxing.
A soothing, appeasing breeze soon,
With my face tenderly came flirting,
As my spirit wandered over the moon
Up in the sky, seemingly floating.
I was steeped in the divine silence
Of the heaven's mysterious infinity,
When out of nowhere her appearance,
Came to disturb my muse completely.
Suddenly, my senses rushed to bay,
To focus on this lovely lady.
She was very simple in a way,
But with a most unparallel beauty.
Her sweet perfume engulfing the air,
Truly endured like a deep scar.
And the sparkling of her dark hair,
Suddenly became my guiding star.
Instantly, I found myself bewitched,
Willfully surrendering to her spell.
I had no choice, but to throw a pitch,
Of course, hopping she'll catch it well.
My emotions then, got so intense,
As I scurried forth to say hello.
Yet, I tried not to be too tense,
When finally I trespassed her shadow.
Just as sensed by my intuition,
I was met with a beautiful smile.
Thus soon began a conversation,
Which lasted for a very long while.
Right there, we fitted like a glove in a hand,
Fighting hard to contain our merriment.
Obviously, life we came to understand.
Had offered us a ray of excitement.
So, we decided to chance its plan,
As we blessed our fortuitous moment.
