Ou te vire'm, ou te tounen'm,
Men ou pat ka wè lanve'm.
Si ou te apran'n konnen'm,
Ou ta va toujou sou kè'm.
Lè'm tap pale'w, ou pat vle koute'm,
Ou te panse ke'm te sou ran's.
Mwen te di'w pa mache sou pie'm,
Ou te di ke'm pat fè san's.
Pèn'n mwen Se te kontantman'w,
Ou men'm panse ke'm te rizib.
Jwa pa'm se te mizè'w,
Ou men'm panse ke'm te nwizib.
Lanmou'n te tankou yon chato sab,
Yon lakansiel pèdi nan niaj.
Nou te eseye, men'n pat kapab.
Li te tan pou'n te tounen yon lòt paj.
Kouniè ya lanmou nou fè fayit,
Ou te dwe wè'm pat nan chire pit.
Kouniè ya lanmou nou fè fayit,
Ou te inyore'm, mwen kite'w, nou kit.
