I still remember

I still remember us in the dark alley,
seeing each other the very first time.
Under that sky somber and grey,
sprang the sweet memories of a lifetime

The cool summer breeze sudddenly chilled,
when I placed my hands around you.
I became half-scared, half-thrilled,
as my dream was about to be true.

My trembling lips met yours half-way,
to share the nectar of forbiden love.
We were fifteen, with our parents in the way,
yet brave and innocent like a dove.

Hmmmh! We had waited much too long
to satisfy this haunting desire.
Our souls were singing a new song,
and our bodies fighting a raging fire

Yes! I still remember those tears
rushing down your face to our mouths.
They came streaming, to wash away our fears,
and quench our thirst becoming overly rough.

Yes! I still recall your exhalation,
as I ran my mouths over your firm breasts.
I could feel your heart being set in motion,
your blood rushing like a river reaching its crest.

Suddenly the sky was set ablaze,
and the world became only you and I.
All through our induced trance and daze,
we had pledged to nurture our love till we die.

Now, I know that many years had gone by,
eroding this love long destined to wither.
But, please don't you ask me why,
when I say I still remember.
