Sweet Revival

Like a lost baby bear,
I was out of a clue.
To me things were so unfair,
But this was not at all new.

My nights were awfully cold,
Always those plain walls and I.
I had nobody to hold,
I could not understand why.

She came right into my life,
Mended the pieces of my heart.
She agreed to be my wife,
Only death will take us apart.

She has brought me courage,
Showed me the true ways of life,
Helped me through my outrage,
And freed my heart from that knife.

She's more than I've wished for,
She meets my own desire.
She's the one I'm living for,
She's my sweet winter fire.

All my life I've been down and out,
So many times I've fallen out,
So loud I've been crying out,
At times I thought I'd lost the bout.

Now I've climbed the mountains of love;
It feels so good to be all above.
This is what I've been dreaming of;
I finally got something to be proud of.
