I'm Sorry...

Things have been really hard for me,
Since the very moment we met, you see.
We were each other's only horizon,
Too wild and blind for us to reason.
At first I thought I was so cool,
I guess I was nothing but a fool.
All I wanted was some times together;
It was never meant to be forever.

But, this came quite hard on me;
I really got tricked by destiny.
All I can say is I'm sorry,
My heart has decided to set you free.
I know it shouldn't be that way,
That you were here with me to stay.
But, nothing is coming our way,
So let's give it up and walk away.

Many times I broke down and cried,
Thinking how hard I've tried.
It's not that I want to hurt you,
I just can't seem to think of you.
Forgive me if I break you loose,
Yes! I have put myself in your shoes.
We all know that life is unfair;
What we want is not always there.

Oh! This came quite hard on me;
I really got tricked by destiny.
All I can say is I'm sorry,
My heart has decided to set you free.
I know that you never did me wrong,
That your feelings for me were strong.
But, this love sure wouldn't last long;
We'll get over it, for we're still young.
