My Vision
For long now, I've nurtured this thought,
The one of changing my life around.
Yet, in this web I'm still caught,
Trying to find my way around.
The abyss is now quite in sight,
I have reached the point of no return.
Now, I have to play my cards right,
There are no more lucky tricks to learn.
All my dreams have gotten stalled,
Society has put me on hold.
There's no available rescue to call,
I have been left out in the cold.
Yes, the word unity is strong,
But it did not do me any good.
My trust has really done me wrong,
I guess I was just misunderstood.
I have tried my best to deliver,
But what am I against a crowd?
Disdain hatred, and anger,
Are those of which they are proud.
Neither my love, nor my inspiration,
Could be fully carried out.
Well, I stood up to my frustration,
When they thought I was burned out.
Oh! The day will come, when I will rise;
Yes! I'll shine just like the morning sun.
For those who couldn't see with their eyes,
I'll become a divine beacon.
I'll be an emblem to their soul,
The object of their illusion.
While they'll he craving for my role,
I'll be fulfilling my vision.
